- You and Me Both és el nom del segon disc del grup anglès de pop electrònic Yazoo; va ser publicat el 1983, novament al segell discogràfic Mute Records. Si l'anterior àlbum, Upstairs at Eric's, ja havia convertit els Yazoo en un grup famós arreu d'Europa, "You and me both" encara va tenir més èxit, ja que els donà el seu primer número 1 britànic. El disc continua amb la combinació de pop melòdic, ballable i electrònic (cortesia de Vince Clarke) i l'expressiva veu d'Alison Moyet. Contràriament a l'anterior treball, Moyet va tenir més participació en la composició dels seus temes (de fet, la majoria de les cançons que s'hi inclouen són seves). Clarke, d'altra banda, experimentà amb noves fonts per crear els sons de l'àlbum, recorrent al sampler Fairlight CMI, i a més cantà al tema "Happy people". - You and Me Both is the second and final studio album by English synth-pop duo Yazoo (known in North America as Yaz), released on 4 July 1983 in the United Kingdom by Mute Records and in North America by Sire Records. The album's title was an ironic reference to the fact that the duo had grown estranged from each other and recorded much of the album separately; they announced their split a few weeks before the album's release. You and Me Both gave the group a "posthumous" number-one record in the United Kingdom and New Zealand, and reached number 69 in the United States. Singer Alison Moyet began a successful solo career, while Vince Clarke formed the short-lived project the Assembly with Yazoo's producer Eric Radcliffe before going on to greater and long-lasting success with the synth-pop duo Erasure.
