- La Federació Mundial de Dards (WDF) És l'òrgan que regeix l'esport i organitzador de competicions de dards. Es va crear el 1976, pels representants dels quinze (15) nacions. La WDF està oberta als organismes/federacions nacionals de Dards reconeguts per les respectives nacions. La WDF fomenta la promoció de l'esport dels dards a nivell d'organisme i a nivell d'associació federativa, en un esforç per aconseguir el reconeixement internacional de dards com a esport principal. Des del 20 de setembre de 2011, la Federació Catalana de Dards (FCD) n'és membre de ple dret. (ca)

- The World Darts Federation (WDF) is a sport governing body and (along with the PDC) a tournament organiser for the game of darts. It was formed in 1974 by representatives of the original fourteen founding members. Membership is open to the national organizing body for darts in all nations. The WDF encourages the promotion of the sport of darts among and between those bodies, in an effort to gain international recognition for darts as a major sport. The WDF is a full member of Global Association of International Sports Federations, which is the governing body for international sports federations. The WDF stages a world championship (called the WDF World Cup), as well as continental championships such as the WDF Americas Cup, the WDF Asia-Pacific Cup and the WDF Europe Cup. The country that is first in the overall leader board (overall best result in the two events, singles, pairs, teams) becomes the world champion. Winners of any of the events can also call themselves the official World Champion. Winners of continental championships can call themselves the official champion of their own areas. After the collapse of the British Darts Organisation in September 2020, the WDF announced plans to launch the WDF World Championship and WDF World Masters. Both competitions are scheduled to take place for the first time in 2022, starting with the 2022 WDF World Darts Championship in April. (en)

De WDF organiseert ook continentale kampioenschappen. Zo organiseert het om de twee jaar een WDF Europe Cup, een en een . De WDF is een wereldwijd bestuur en overkoepelende federatie van de sport darts en is een volwaardig lid van , de internationale overkoepelende organisatie voor internationale sportfederaties. Onder de WDF vallen de nationale bonden, zoals de in 2020 opgeheven British Darts Organisation (BDO), de Nederlands Darts Bond (NDB) en de Belgische Dart Bond (BDB). Na het faillissement van de BDO in september 2020 kondigde de WDF plannen aan om het WDF World Darts Championship en WDF World Masters te organiseren. Quest'associazione, è stata costituita nel 1976, da parte dei rappresentanti di quindici nazioni. L'iscrizione è aperta alle federazioni nazionali riconosciute di tutto il mondo. La WDF incoraggia la promozione dello sport delle freccette fra e tra tali organismi, nel tentativo di ottenere il riconoscimento internazionale per le freccette come uno dei principali sport.
