WordWorld (also sometimes referred to as Word World) is an American children's CGI animated television series that is based on the books and the wooden puzzles of the same name. WordWorld debuted on PBS Kids and was created by Don Moody, Jacqueline Moody, Peter Schneider and Gary Friedman. WordWorld is produced by The Learning Box and WTTW Chicago. The series premiered on September 3, 2007, and concluded on January 17, 2011 after airing three seasons and 45 episodes.

WordWorld, 2007–2011), przygotowany i emitowany od września 2007 r. przez amerykańskie-kanadyjskie-indyjskie telewizję PBS, jest programem Edutainment, którego celem jest edukacja dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym. Jest to serial dla dzieci pokazujący animowany świat, w którym zbudowane z liter postaci odgrywają pierwszoplanowe role, ucząc dzieci znaczenia angielskich słów i sposobu ich wymawiania. W pierwszym sezonie WordWorld wyemitowanych będzie 26 półgodzinnych odcinków serialu. Uzupełnieniem programu, podobnie jak przy Ulicy Sezamkowej, są strony internetowe programu WordWorld oraz portal edukacyjny PBSKids, a także towarzyszące produkcji telewizyjnej: seria DVD, książek, gier i zabawek nawiązujących do Świata Słów. Zanim producenci WordWorld nakręcili odcinki serialu, przeprowadzono szczegółowe badania czytelnictwa wśród dzieci. Na podstawie tych badań przygotowano założenia dydaktyczne kolejnych odcinków. Każdy odcinek programu kształtuje jedną z czterech kluczowych umiejętności dzieci: rozpoznawanie słów, znajomość liter, rozumienie sensu słowa, a także dzielenie się wiedzą i emocjami. Konstrukcja WordWorld powoduje, że może on służyć jako narzędzie nauki języka angielskiego dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym w innych krajach. In their enthusiasm to get to the party, Duck and Bug accidentally break the banana into letters and they don’t know how to rebuild it! It’s just too big to build a word. Fortunately, Elephant knows a thing or two about big words, and teaches them to build the banana back, bit by bit, based on the three syllables in the word.
