- سيارة فولفو إس سي سي هي سيارة مبتكرة ذات تصميم يوفر سلامة عالية عرضت للمرة الأولى في معرض أمريكا الشمالية الدولي للسيارات لعام 2001 في ديترويت، ميشيغان. أخذت السيارة تصميم صندوقها الخلفي من تصميم فولفو بي 1800 أي إس بينما أخذت الفتحة الزجاجية من فولفو 480 إي إس.. التصميم الداخلي للسيارة مشابه مع تصميم سيارتي إس 40 وفي 50، حيث تتشارك الثلاث سيارات في غالبية الأجزاء مثل لوحة العدادات، الكومة المركزية «العوامة» وعجلة القيادة. أبواب السيارة الأمامية تفتح بالطريقة التقليدية أما الخلفية فهي ذات الانزلاق الخلفي الخفيف. - El Volvo SCC (siglas de Security Concept Car en inglés, "Prototipo de seguridad") es un prototipo de automóvil que se mostró en el Salón del Automóvil de Detroit de 2001. El coche fue el primero, y hasta la fecha, el único en tener un cinturón de seguridad doble cruzado sobre el pecho. Este coche es el prototipo del C30.

- The Volvo Safety Concept Car (SCC) is an ESV concept car which was first shown at the 2001 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan. The SCC incorporates the rear hatch design from Volvo P1800ES and the glass hatch from Volvo 480ES. The interior design is similar to the S40 and V50; the majority of parts including the instrument panel, 'floating' centre stack and steering wheel are shared by the three cars. Its doors open in a manner of front conventional doors and rear small sliding doors. The vehicle was unveiled in the 2001 Detroit Auto Show, and later in Seville International Airport in southern Spain in Autumn. Production model of C30 was planned in 2002. The car was the first and, to date, the only car to have an experimental criss cross seatbelt. Design elements from the car were later used in the Volvo C30, which went into production in the end of 2006. (en)
