- Das Kraftwerk Warna ist ein Wärmekraftwerk, das am nördlichen Ufer der Bucht von Warna, Oblast Warna, Bulgarien liegt. Die installierte Leistung des Kraftwerks lag nach Inbetriebnahme aller Blöcke bei 1260 MW. Das Kraftwerk ist im Besitz von und wird auch von SIGDA betrieben. Das Kraftwerk wurde Anfang 2015 vorübergehend stillgelegt, da es Umweltschutzauflagen der EU nicht einhalten konnte. Ursprünglich wurde es mit Kohle betrieben; die noch aktiven Blöcke sind auf Erdgas umgerüstet worden. (de)
- Varna Thermal Power Plant (Bulgarian: ТЕЦ Варна) is located on the northern shore of the Lake Varna near the village of Ezerovo at 12 km to the west of Varna, eastern Bulgaria. It was bought by the Czech energy company CEZ Group. The plant was constructed at that location because it works with anthracite coal imported mainly from Ukraine. There is a coal port built nearby with room for three ships - two for ships up to 12,000 t and one for ships up to 55,000 t. The plant has 6 turbines with installed power of 210 MW which makes a total of 1,260 MW. It has two chimneys, each with a height of 150 metres. Varna TPP is the second largest coal power plant in the Balkan peninsula after Maritsa Iztok 2 which is also situated in Bulgaria. In 2006, it produced 3 billion kWh electricity. Varna TPP has 900 employees. The income from the sold electrical energy is worth of 173,000,000 BGN or approximately €80,000,000. Two turbines working with gas with installed power of 440 MW each are planned to be constructed by 2012 as a part of the company's strategy to reduce pollution. (en)

В 1973 – 1975 роках на майданчику станції стали до ладу шість енергоблоків потужністю по 210 МВт (два у 1968-му та по одному в 1969, 1977, 1978 та 1979 роках). Перші три з них отримали турбіни Таганрозького котельного заводу типу ТП-100А продуктивністю по 640 тон пари на годину, а інші три обладнали котлами того ж заводу типу ТПЕ-212 з показниками по 670 тон пари. Всі турбіни постачив Ленінградський металічний завод, по три типів К-210-130-1 та К-210-130-3. Шість генераторів ТВВ-200-2А виготовив завод Електросила. В 2017-му перші три блоки вивели з експлуатації. Воду для охолодження отримують із Варненського озера. Технологічна вода надходить із артезіанських свердловин. ТЕС спорудили з розрахунку на використання імпортованого антрациту, який може надходити через три власні причали на Варненському озері, один з яких призначений для прийому суден розмірністю до 55 тисяч тон, а два можуть обслуговувати судна до 12 тисяч тон. Для розпалювання використовують мазут, а на блоках 4 та 5 – природний газ (надходить до Варни через відгалуження від Південного газопровідного напівкільця). Для видалення продуктів згоряння спорудили два димаря заввишки по 150 метрів. Видача продукції відбувається по ЛЕП, розрахованим на роботу під напругою 220 кВ та 110 кВ. (uk)
