- بازار وكيل : أو سوق وكيل التأريخي، هو سوق تراثي إيراني قديم يعود إلى العصر الزندي ويُعرَف باسم (بازار وكيل) والذي يُعتبَر من روائع الهندسة المعمارية للقرن الثاني عشر الهجري حيث تم تشييده قديماً بأمر من الحاكم كريم خان زند عام (1758-1779) للميلادي وهو مؤسس السلالة الزندية. يقع هذا السوق في مدينة شيراز مركز محافظة فارس كما وبُني بجانب هذا السوق حمام وجامع وكيل الاثري. كان هذا السوق مركزاً رئيساً لجميع الشؤون التجارية بما فيها بيع وشراء البضائع المحلية والأجنبية، وإجراء المعاملات التجارية وفق نظام المقايضة، وإصدار التحويلات التجارية وصرف العملات وما إلى ذلك.
* ان الاسواق التاريخية وعلى الأخص الاسواق التاريخية الإيرانية ومنها سوق وكيل في مدينة شيراز لا تُعد فحسب مراكز تجارية قديمة وفسيحة لم تزل تحتفظ على مكانتها الإقتصادية المرموقة بل تُعتبَر في الواقع صروحاً فخمة مبنية طُبقاً للظروف والقواعد الخاصة والتي تُعتبَر غنية بالثقافة وقِدَم التاريخ.

Vermoedelijk is de bazaar oorspronkelijk als markt opgezet in de 11e eeuw onder de Buyiden en kreeg haar huidige vorm tijdens de heerschappij van de Atabegs van Fars (de Oğuzische ) rond de 12e of 13e eeuw. In de 18e eeuw werd de markt hernoemd naar Zandvorst Karim Khan, die de bazaar sterk liet verbouwen. De bazaar strekt zich uit over 800 meter en wordt overkoepeld door 74 goedgeplaatste bogen. De talrijke koepelgewelven zijn bedekt met tegels. De bazaar wordt gezien als een meesterwerk van de . Een hooggewelfde kruising scheidt de hoofdbazaar van haar oost- en westvleugel. In de bazaar bevinden zich verschillende sfeervolle binnenplaatsen, karavanserais, hamams (waaronder de Vakilhammam) en oude winkeltjes, waar Perzische tapijten, kruiden, koperhandwerken en antiquiteiten worden verkocht, die gelden als de beste van de stad. Rondom de bazaar zijn een aantal moskeeën en gebouwd, waaronder de gelijknamige Vakilmoskee. Bij de verlenging van de Zand Avenue naar het oosten werd een deel van de bazaar gesloopt.
