La version internationale est sortie en Allemagne, Finlande, Japon, Mexique, Pologne et en Suède ; elle contient cinq titres traduits de la version française, les autres chansons étant des compositions originales écrites pour l'album. Pour cet album, M. Pokora fait appel à des réalisateurs européens, avec Gee Futuristic, X-Plosive, Astroboyz, Wayne Beckford, The Bionix, Trak Invaders, Jango Jack et Tarz. Mise à jour contient également des featurings avec la chanteuse Eva Simons sur Mr & Mrs Smith et Astro sur Gogo danseuse. Il a rencontré Eva Simons alors qu'elle était dans un studio d'enregistrement voisin du sien. Dans cet album, Pokora aborde plusieurs thèmes tels que l'amour, la séduction, la manipulation des sentiments, les doutes, son grand-père et la société. Plusieurs morceaux sont consacrés aux femmes.
