- قرار مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة رقم 826، المتخذ بالإجماع في 20 أيار / مايو 1993، بعد التذكير بالقرارات 668 (1990)، 745 (1992) و810 (1993)، أيد المجلس الخمسة ملايين كمبودي الذين سجلوا للتصويت على الرغم من العنف والترهيب، وناقش بمزيد من التفصيل الاستعدادات للانتخابات المقبلة. بالموافقة على تقرير الأمين العام بطرس بطرس غالي، أعرب المجلس عن دعمه للاستعدادات التي تقوم بها سلطة الأمم المتحدة الانتقالية في كمبوديا، وطالب جميع الأطراف بالالتزام باتفاقيات باريس والتعاون مع السلطة الانتقالية. كما أدان عدم التعاون مع اتفاقيات باريس والتدخل والاعتداءات على أفراد السلطة الانتقالية، معربًا عن دعمه للإجراءات الأخيرة المتخذة لحماية أفرادها. وقدم المجلس الدعم لجهود السلطة الانتقالية في الاستعداد للانتخابات، ودعاها إلى ضمان بيئة سياسية محايدة مواتية لإجراء انتخابات حرة ونزيهة، وإعلن المجلس عزمه على المصادقة على نتائج الانتخابات بشرط أن تكون حرة ونزيهة. كما حذر القرار من أن عدم امتثال أي من الأطراف لالتزاماتها سيؤدي إلى اتخاذ المزيد من الإجراءات من المجلس، مدركين أنهم يتحملون المسؤولية الكاملة عن تنفيذ اتفاقيات باريس. واختتم القرار بالطلب من الأمين العام تقديم تقرير عن إجراء الانتخابات ونتائجها، وسلوك الأطراف وأي تدابير جديدة إذا لزم الأمر لضمان امتثال الأطراف. - La Resolució 826 del Consell de Seguretat de les Nacions Unides, fou adoptada per unanimitat el 20 de maig de 1993. Després de recordar les resolucions 668 (1990), 745 (1992) i 810 (1993), el Consell va recolzar els cinc milions de cambodjans que es van inscriure per votar malgrat la violència i la intimidació i va tractar altres preparatius per a les pròximes eleccions. Aprovant un informe del Secretari General Boutros Boutros-Ghali, el Consell va expressar el seu suport als preparatius per l' (UNTAC), exigint que totes les parts compleixin amb els Acords de París i cooperar amb la UNTAC. També condemna la no cooperació amb els Acords de París i la interferència i els atacs contra personal de la UNTAC, expressant el seu suport a les mesures adoptades per aquests últims per protegir el seu personal. Van donar suport als esforços de la UNTAC en la preparació de les eleccions, fent una crida a assegurar un ambient polític neutral propici per a la celebració d'eleccions lliures i justes i anunciant la seva intenció de donar suport als resultats de les eleccions, sempre que siguin lliures i justes. La resolució també argumenta que una manca de qualsevol de les parts en complir amb llurs obligacions en podria resultar mesures del Consell, Conscient que tenen la plena responsabilitat d'implementar els Acords de París. La resolució conclou demanant al Secretari General que informi sobre la celebració i el resultat de les eleccions, el comportament dels partits i noves mesures si calia assegurar el compliment per les parts. Usai mengulang resolusi-resolusi 668 (1990), 745 (1992) dan 810 (1993), DKPBB mendukung lima juta warga Kamboja yang terdaftar untuk pemilihan disamping kekerasan dan intimidasi dan mendiskusikan persiapan lebih lanjut untuk pemilu mendatang. - United Nations Security Council resolution 826, adopted unanimously on 20 May 1993, after recalling resolutions 668 (1990), 745 (1992) and 810 (1993), the council supported the five million Cambodians who registered to vote despite violence and intimidation and discussed further preparations for the upcoming elections. Approving a report by the Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali, the council expressed support for the preparations by the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC), demanding all parties abide by the Paris Agreements and co-operate with UNTAC. It also condemned non-cooperation with the Paris Agreements and interference and attacks on UNTAC personnel, expressing support for the latters measures taken to protect its personnel. Support was given to the efforts of UNTAC in preparation for the elections, calling on it to ensure a neutral political environment conducive to the holding of free and fair elections and announcing its intention to endorse the results of the election provided they are free and fair. The resolution also warned that a failure of any of the parties to comply with their obligations would result in further measures from the council, realising that they have full responsibility to implement the Paris Agreements. The resolution concluded by requesting the secretary-general to report on the holding and results of the election, the conduct of the parties and any new measures if necessary to ensure compliance by the parties.
