- La Resolució 549 del Consell de Seguretat de les Nacions Unides, aprovada el 19 d'abril de 1984, després de recordar les resolucions anteriors del Consell de Seguretat de les Nacions Unides sobre el tema, així com l'estudi de l'informe del Secretari General de les Nacions Unides sobre la Força Provisional de les Nacions Unides a Líban (FPNUL) aprovada a la 426 (1978), el Consell va decidir ampliar el mandat de la FPNUL durant sis mesos més fins al 19 d'octubre de 1984. El Consell, després, va reafirmar el mandat de la Força i va demanar al Secretari General que informés sobre els progressos realitzats respecte a l'aplicació de la resolució. La resolució 549 va ser aprovada per 13 vots a cap, amb dues abstencions de la República Socialista Soviètica d'Ucraïna i la Unió Soviètica. (ca)

- Resolusi 549 Dewan Keamanan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa, diadopsi pada 19 April 1984. Setelah mengulang resolusi-resolusi sebelumnya tentang topik tersebut, serta mengkaji laporan dari Sekjen perihal United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) yang disepakati dalam 426 (1978), DKPBB memutuskan untuk memperpanjang masa penugasan UNIFIL untuk enam bulan berikutnya sampai 19 Oktober 1984. - United Nations Security Council resolution 549, adopted on 19 April 1984, after recalling previous resolutions on the topic, as well as studying the report by the Secretary-General on the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) approved in 426 (1978), the Council decided to extend the mandate of UNIFIL for a further six months until 19 October 1984. The Council then reemphasised the mandate of the Force and requested the Secretary-General to report back on the progress made with regard to the implementation of the resolution. Resolution 549 was adopted by 13 votes to none, with two abstentions from the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic and Soviet Union. (en)
