- La Resolució 2167 del Consell de Seguretat de les Nacions Unides, pel que fa al paper crític de la cooperació regional en el manteniment de la pau i seguretat internacionals, fou adoptada per unanimitat el 28 de juliol de 2014. La resolució es va originar a través d'un debat iniciat per una carta enviada en data 3 de juliol pel representant permanent de Ruanda dirigida al Secretari General. El Consell va destacar que les organitzacions regionals (especialment la Unió Africana) haurien de prendre mesures concretes per reforçar les seves relacions i desenvolupar una associació més eficaç. La resolució reafirma el suport per a la cooperació de la Unió Africana i la Unió Europea amb les operacions de manteniment de la pau. (ca)
- قرار مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة رقم 2167، المتخذ بالإجماع في 28 يوليو 2014، بشأن الدور الحاسم للتعاون الإقليمي في حفظ السلام والأمن الدوليين. نشأ القرار من خلال مناقشة بدأها الممثل الدائم لرواندا بإرسال رسالة مؤرخة 3 يوليو موجهة إلى الأمين العام. وشدد المجلس على ضرورة اتخاذ الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الإقليمية (خاصة الاتحاد الأفريقي) خطوات ملموسة لتقوية علاقاتها وتطوير شراكة أكثر فعالية. وأكد القرار من جديد دعم تعاون عمليات حفظ السلام مع الاتحاد الأفريقي والاتحاد الأوروبي. - United Nations Security Council Resolution 2167, concerning the critical role of regional cooperation in International Peacekeeping and Security was adopted unanimously on 28 July 2014. The resolution originated through a debate initiated by the Permanent Representative of Rwanda by sending a letter dated 3 July addressed to the Secretary-General. The 15 member body emphasised that concrete steps should be taken by United Nations and regional organisations (especially the African Union) to strengthen their relationships and develop more effective partnership. The resolution reaffirms support for African Union and European Union collaboration with peacekeeping operations. (en)
- Resolutie 2167 van de Veiligheidsraad van de Verenigde Naties werd op 28 juli 2014 unaniem aangenomen door de VN-Veiligheidsraad.
