- L'Informe sobre el Desenvolupament dels Recursos Hídrics al Món (en anglès: The United Nations World Water Development Report (WWDR)) és un informe mundial que proporciona una investigació exhaustiva autoritzada dels recursos d'aigua dolça del món. Es realitza cada tres anys i la produeix el . L'informe examina la manera com es gestionen els recursos mundials d'aigua i els problemes de les diferents regions, com l'accés a l'aigua neta i la sanitat i els temes creuats que l'afectren com són l'energia, el canvi climàtic, l'agricultura i el creixement urbà. L'informe també ofereix recomanacions de com s'han de gestionar els recursos d'aigua de manera més sostenible. El contingut de l'informe prové dels esforços coordinats de 26 agències de l'ONU que formen l', que treballa amb governs, organitzacions internacionals, organitzacions no governamentals i altres grups. - Der Weltwasserbericht (United Nations World Water Development Report, WWDR) ist ein von der „UN-Wasser“ mittlerweile jährlich im März herausgegebener thematisch fokussierter und strategisch orientierter Bericht unter anderem zum weltweiten Stand der Versorgung mit trinkbarem (Frisch)wasser. Er soll „Entscheidungsträgern die Instrumente zur Verfügung stellen, eine nachhaltige Nutzung unserer Wasserressourcen zu implementieren, auch unter Berücksichtigung regionaler Aspekte, Hotspots, Beispiele und Geschichten, wodurch er für eine breite Leserschaft auf verschiedenen Ebenen und in verschiedenen Regionen der Welt relevant wird“. 2003 bis 2012 erschien er alle drei Jahre, dann wieder 2014 und seither jährlich in Verbindung mit dem Weltwassertag. Seine Erstellung und Veröffentlichung wird vom World Water Assessment Program (WWAP) der UNESCO koordiniert. (de)

It is produced annually by the World Water Assessment Programme and released by UN-Water. The report examines the ways that the world’s water resources are being managed and the varied water problems that different regions of the world are experiencing. It takes a close look at growing water problems worldwide, such as access to clean water and sanitation, and the cross-cutting issues which affect them, such as: energy, climate change, agriculture, and urban growth. The report also offers recommendations on how freshwater resources could be managed more sustainably. The content of the report comes from the coordinated efforts of 26 UN agencies that make up UN-Water, working with governments, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders. In 2018, the topic of the report was "Nature-based Solutions for Water". In 2017, the topic of the report was "Wastewater: The Untapped Resource". (en)
