- «Matatrolls» (título original en inglés Trollslayer) es una novela de ficción escrita por William King, primera de la serie de 12 novelas Las aventuras de Gotrek y Félix y ambientada en el universo fantástico del juego de miniaturas Warhammer. El libro está escrito en formato de capítulos, conteniendo cada capítulo una aventura diferente con diferentes personajes secundarios y villanos. Algunos de estos capítulos son viejas historias que William King escribió a finales de los años 1980 y principios de los 90. La novela muestra el trasfondo de muchos momentos importantes que recordará en otras historias posteriores, como su primer encuentro con el Caos y su primer gran amor, por no mencionar cómo y dónde consiguió su espada mágica. "Matatrolls" fue publicada por primera vez en 1999 y su segunda edición en 2003. También ha sido incluida, junto con la segunda y la tercera parte de la saga, en un volumen compilatorio llamado Las aventuras de Gotrek y Félix publicado en 2006. (es)
- Trollslayer, a novel written by William King, is the first in a series of twelve books following the adventures of Gotrek and Felix, in the Warhammer Fantasy universe. The book is written in an episodic format, with each chapter featuring a different adventure with different supporting characters and different villains. It shows the background for many important things in Felix's reminiscing in other stories, such as his first encounter with Chaos and his first great love, not to mention where he got his magical sword. The material in Trollslayer was first released under that title in 1999 and a second edition was released in 2003. It was also included in a volume with the second and third in the series, titled Gotrek & Felix: The First Omnibus, released in 2006.A free ebook edition was made available on the Black Library website in October 2010. Trollslayer was also republished in 2013 as part of the Black Library Classics series. (en)
