Timothy Rees MC CR (15 August 1874 – 29 April 1939) was a Bishop of Llandaff. Timothy Rees was a Cardiganshire man, educated at St David's College School and then St David's College Lampeter. He subsequently pursued a monastic vocation at the Community of the Resurrection at Mirfield in Yorkshire. When in 1931 he became Bishop of Llandaff he was the first member of a religious community to be appointed to an Anglican see in Wales for over three centuries. He was a distinguished speaker both in English and Welsh and a respected hymnographer.

Er besuchte das St. David's College in Lampeter und erhielt dort 1896 seinen Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). Nach einem Jahr am St. Michael's College in Aberdare wurde Rees im Dezember 1897 zum Diakon geweiht. 1898 erfolgte seine Priesterweihe. Nachdem Rees zwei Jahre als Kurat in tätig gewesen war, kehrte er an das St. Michael's College als Lecturer zurück. Im Jahr 1906 trat er der Community of the Resurrection, einer anglikanischen Ordensgemeinschaft, bei.
