- Thunder Blade is a third-person combat flight simulator video game released by Sega for arcades in 1987. Players control a helicopter to destroy enemy vehicles. The game was released as a standard stand-up arcade cabinet with force feedback, as the joystick vibrates. A helicopter shaped sit-down model was released, replacing the force feedback with a cockpit seat that moves in tandem with the joystick. It is a motion simulator cabinet, like the previous Sega Super Scaler games Space Harrier (1985) and After Burner (1987). The game's plot and setting was inspired by the film Blue Thunder (1983). Versions were released for the Master System, Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64, MS-DOS, MSX, TurboGrafx-16, X68000, and ZX Spectrum. The Nintendo 3DS remake was released as a 3D Classic in Japan on August 20, 2014, in North America and Europe on May 14, 2015, and in Australia on July 2, 2015. The sequel, Super Thunder Blade, was released exclusively for the Sega Genesis. (en)
- 《썬더 블레이드》는 세가가 제작한 1987년 아케이드 게임이다. 햅틱 기술를 활용해 게임 내 상황에 따라 진동하는 조이스틱이 달린 아케이드 캐비넷과 함께 발매됐다. 플레이어가 헬리콥터를 조종해 적 기체 및 장갑자를 파괴하는 것이 게임 목표로, 게임 진행에 따라 3인칭 시점, 위에서 내려보는 탑뷰 시점을 오가는 것이 특징이다. 아케이드판 출시 이후 세가의 콘솔 세가 마스터 시스템 및 메가 드라이브, PC 엔진, MSX, 그리고 아미가, MS-DOS를 포함한 다수의 컴퓨터 기종으로 이식됐다. 메가 드라이브판의 경우 《슈퍼 썬더 블레이드》라는 제목으로 발매됐다. 2014년에 닌텐도 3DS 이식판이 출시됐다. - Thunder Blade (サンダーブレード), a volte chiamato Thunderblade da fonti esterne, è un videogioco arcade sparatutto a scorrimento pubblicato nel 1987 dalla SEGA, caratterizzato dall'alternarsi di inquadrature del proprio elicottero dall'alto e da dietro, in entrambi i casi con tridimensionalità.Tra il 1988 e il 1990 venne convertito per i computer Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64, MS-DOS, MSX e ZX Spectrum in Occidente (edito dalla SEGA in America e dalla U.S. Gold in Europa), per le console PC Engine e Sega Master System, e per il computer giapponese Sharp X68000. La Tiger Electronics ne derivò anche un gioco elettronico portatile LCD (1988). Sebbene non ci siano riferimenti ufficiali, l'elicottero è simile a quello del film Tuono blu e una schermata introduttiva è tratta dalla digitalizzazione di un fotogramma del film. Thunder Blade ha avuto un seguito, Super Thunder Blade (1988) per Sega Mega Drive; in pratica, più che un seguito si può considerare una variante dell'originale. Nel 2014 un rifacimento fedele della versione arcade venne pubblicato per Nintendo 3DS con il titolo 3D Thunder Blade e con alcune caratteristiche aggiuntive. Con il titolo Thunder Blade fu inserito nella raccolta del 2015 Sega 3D Classics Collection. (it)
