- Le Verrou est une scène traditionnellement considérée comme galante représentant les prémisses d’un rapport (peut-être non consenti) peinte par Jean-Honoré Fragonard en 1777. Il s'agit de l'un des tableaux les plus célèbres du peintre, véritable référence de la peinture du XVIIIe siècle. L'interprétation commune suggère que la scène représente deux amants enlacés dans une chambre à coucher, l'homme poussant le verrou de la porte. Une interprétation différente suggère au contraire la représentation d’un viol. La femme représentée tentant de s’extirper des bras de l’homme. L’homme enfermant la femme dans la pièce en poussant le verrou.
