- The Jehol Diary (Yeolha Ilgi) is the work of the Joseon dynasty silhak scholar Bak Jiwon, written in classical Chinese. Bak, also known by his pen name of Yeon'am (燕巖), made an extensive tour of what was then the northern territory of the Chinese Qing Empire, including Shenyang, Beijing and Rehe Province (formerly romanized as Jehol), in 1780, in the company of his cousin. Bak's cousin had been dispatched to the Qing imperial court by the Joseon king Jeongjo to attend the 70th birthday celebrations of the Qianlong Emperor. As the title suggests, the Yeolha Ilgi (the result of the trip) takes the form of a travelogue. However, the scope of the diary is vast, covering such disparate topics as history, customs, natural surroundings, politics, economics, and poetry. Both the scope of the work and the quality of its writing have earned it a place as a masterpiece and an important source for Chinese and Korean historians. - 《열하일기》(熱河日記)는 조선 정조 때의 북학파인 박지원이 1780년(정조 4년) 청나라 건륭제의 만수절(萬壽節, 칠순 잔치) 축하 사절로 중국의 북경(당시의 연경)에 갔을 때 보고 들은 것을 남긴 견문기이다. 박지원은 자신의 삼종형(8촌 형)이자 사절단의 수장인 금성위 박명원의 자제 군관 자격으로 일행에 합류할 수 있었고 러허강(열하강)까지 다녀온 감상을 기록으로 남겼는데 그 기록물이 《열하일기》(熱河日記)이다. 조선시대의 대표적인 사상가 및 서화가들이 남긴 서적, 서화, 골동품 등 문화재급 유품 3만여 점과 함께 연민 이가원이 소장하여 오다가 1986년 12월 22일 기증하였고 단국대학교 연민문고에 친필본이 소장되어 있다. - 《热河日记》是朝鲜实学派文学家朴趾源所作的长篇纪行文学作品。1780年，朴趾源的堂兄朴明源被任命为赴中国清朝祝贺乾隆70大寿的“入燕使节团”正使。他作为随行人员一同前往，归国后将其在中国的所见所闻写成《热河日记》。 《热河日记》共26卷有25万字，内容涉及中国的政治、经济、宗教、文学、艺术、天文、地理、历史、医学、器用等方方面面。《热河日记》由两大部分组成：第一部分（1—7卷）以日记的形式记录了作者从1780年6月24日渡过鸭绿江开始到8月底到达热河，再回到北京的57天见闻。第二部分（8—26卷）主要采取以一件事或一个主题为中心展开的纪事本末体的记述方式。在这部分中有《班禅始末》、《杨梅诗话》、《玉匣夜话》、《铜栏涉笔》等名篇。 (zh)
