- "That Darn Priest" is the season finale of the eighth season of the American sitcom Two and a Half Men and the final appearance of Charlie Sheen as Charlie Harper. The episode aired on February 14, 2011 on CBS. The episode is the 16th and final episode of the season, though it was meant to be the fifth to last episode, but the season was cut short due to Sheen's problems related to drug and alcohol abuse. Three weeks after the episode's original airing, Sheen was officially fired from the show. CBS and Warner Bros. later announced that Ashton Kutcher would join the show's cast as Sheen's replacement. Ze is de 177e en laatste aflevering met hoofdrolspeler Charlie Sheen, die drie weken na de uitzenddatum op 7 maart 2011 werd ontslagen door Warner Bros., het productiebedrijf achter de toen succesvolle sitcom, wegens voortdurend alcoholmisbruik en vanwege kwaadspreken jegens de bedenker en schrijver Chuck Lorre. De zaak Sheen-Lorre, een storm die uitbarstte na de aflevering That Darn Priest en aansluitend einde van het achtste seizoen van het populaire Two and a Half Men, werd breed uitgesmeerd in de Amerikaanse tabloids of kreeg met andere woorden grote media-aandacht en heeft (de carrière van) Sheen schade toegebracht. In november 2015 werd een hiv-besmetting bij Sheen vastgesteld, wat Sheen in slecht daglicht stelde. Sheen acteerde nog in de sitcom Anger Management, maar verdere grote rollen bleven uit. In 2018 werd bekend dat Sheen de fiscus zo'n vijf miljoen dollar achterstallige belastingschuld moest betalen.
