- Le Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment (TIDE) est un système de traitement de données de l'administration des États-Unis, dépendant du Centre national de contre-terrorisme (lui-même dépendant du directeur du renseignement national). Ce système enregistre des données personnelles concernant tout « terroriste » soupçonné ou connu, et contient des informations classifiées provenant de la communauté nationale du renseignement (CIA, DIA, FBI, NSA, etc.). À ce jour, la base contient plus d'un million de noms. Ce système de traitement de données concerne les terroristes de nationalité étrangère, mais peut inclure des citoyens américains agissant sous la direction de groupes étrangers. Une partie du contenu, partiellement déclassifié, est transféré au Terrorist Screening Center du FBI, qui compile la , qui elle-même compile des données venant de plusieurs fichiers, dont la no fly list de la TSA, le du département d'État, l' du département de la Sécurité intérieure, et le (NCIC) du FBI. - The Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment (TIDE) is the U.S. government's central database on known or suspected international terrorists, and contains highly classified information provided by members of the Intelligence Community such as CIA, DIA, FBI, NSA, and many others. As of February 2017, there are 1.6 million names in TIDE. In 2008, more than 27,000 names were removed from the list when it was determined they no longer met the criteria for inclusion. According to the FBI, international terrorists include those persons who carry out terrorist activities under foreign direction. For this purpose, they may include U.S. persons (U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents). The Terrorist Identities Group (TIG), located in NCTC's Information Sharing & Knowledge Development Directorate (ISKD), is responsible for building and maintaining TIDE. From the classified TIDE database, an unclassified, but sensitive, extract is provided to the FBI's Terrorist Screening Center, which compiles the Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB). This database, in turn, is used to compile various watch lists such as the TSA's No Fly List, State Department's Consular Lookout and Support System, Homeland Security's Interagency Border Inspection System, and FBI's NCIC (National Crime Information Center) for state and local law enforcement. Het gaat om geclassificeerde informatie die systematisch wordt aangevuld door verschillende inlichtingendiensten, zoals de CIA, de , het FBI en de NSA. De TIDE bevat ongeveer 745.000 namen. In 2008 werden ruim 27.000 namen verwijderd omdat ze niet langer voldeden aan de opnamevereisten. Hoewel de lijst in essentie enkel de namen van buitenlandse terroristen bevat, kunnen ook mensen met de Amerikaanse nationaliteit worden opgenomen indien ze terroristische activiteiten uitoefenen onder leiding van een buitenlander.
