- El Arco Seaman-Drake (en inglés Seaman-Drake Arc), también conocido como Arco de Inwood, es un remanente de una finca en la cima de una colina construida en 1855 en el vecindario Inwood de Manhattan, Nueva York, por la familia Seaman. Ubicado en 5065 Broadway en West 216th Street, el arco se construyó con mármol extraído de una cantera cercana. Mide 11 m de altura, 6 m de profundidad y 12 m de ancho, y antiguamente fue la puerta de entrada a la hacienda. Se dice que está inspirado en el Arco del Triunfo de París. En la actualidad está parcialmente oculto por edificios comerciales de poca altura y cubierto de grafitis, y el mármol blando de su fachada se está deteriorando. - The Seaman-Drake Arch, also known as the Inwood Arch, is a remnant of a hilltop estate built in 1855 in the Inwood neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City by the Seaman family. Located at 5065 Broadway at West 216th Street, the arch was built from Inwood marble quarried nearby. It is 35 feet (10.67 m) tall, 20 feet (6.10 m) deep, and 40 feet (12.19 m) wide, and was once the gateway to the estate. Today, the arch, which is said to be modeled on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, is partially obscured from view by low-rise commercial buildings, and has been tagged by graffitists; its soft marble facade is decaying. The south side of the structure is used for storage by the transmission repair shop it is behind. (en)
