- El Teatre romà de Tarragona és un teatre romà construït en època d'August, en les proximitats del Fòrum de la Colònia i de la zona portuària de Tàrraco, actual Tarragona. Per a la seva construcció s'aprofità el fort desnivell del terreny on es recolzà parcialment la graderia. Malgrat haver estat objecte d'importants destruccions en el decurs del segle xx, conserva restes de les tres parts més importants, la graderia (cavea), l'hemicicle situat al peu de la graderia reservat a les personalitats (orchestra) i l'espai destinat a les representacions teatrals (scaena). Despite much of it having been destroyed during the 20th century, the remains of three fundamental parts of the structure are still visible; the cavea (seating), the orchestra and the scaena. Римський театр є одним з об'єктів комплексу археологічного ансамблю Таррако, який у 2000 році включений до списку Світової спадщини ЮНЕСКО. Побудований в епоху першого римського імператора Октавіана Августа у кінці першого століття до нашої ери в районі форуму та порту. Будівельники скористалися схилом гори, щоб побудувати частину сидінь. Незважаючи на значні руйнування протягом 20 століття, все ще можна побачити його основні елементи: сидіння, оркестр і сцену. У сімдесяті роки XX століття земля, на якій знаходяться залишки римського театру, були придбані будівельними компаніями, які почали тут будівництво, але рішучі протести громадськості привели до його зупинки.
