Robert Winston (August 5, 1847 – after 1913) was an American football coach. He served as the head football coach at Syracuse University in 1890 and at the University of Georgia in 1894, compiling a career record of 13–4. He was the first coach of the Georgia Bulldogs football team to receive a salary. Winston was British and had previously coached the Blackheath Harriers rugby team in England. He was also a "bantam boxer" and trainer for an athletic club in London, before coming to the United States in 1883.
