- Respect Party byla britská politická strana, založená 25. ledna 2004. Její název byl akronymem slov Respect, Equality, Socialism, Peace, Environmentalism, Community a Trade Unionism. Zanikla v roce 2016. Strana vznikla jako koalice menších levicových stran a lidí, kteří opustili labouristy pro nesouhlas s iráckou válkou. Programem strany byla cenově dostupná veřejná doprava, zdravotnictví a školství, ochrana životního prostředí, práva imigrantů a zvýšení minimální mzdy v celé EU. V zahraničí politice Respect Party kritizovala USA a Izrael, velký důraz kladla na vyřešení kašmírské otázky, protože mezi příznivci strany bylo hodně přistěhovalců z indického subkontinentu. Strana sídlila v Manchesteru, její barvy byly zelená a červená. V letech 2005 až 2012 stála v jejím čele . Mezi významné členy strany patřili novinář George Monbiot, bývalý labouristický poslanec nebo filmař Ken Loach. (cs)

- حزب الكرامة (بالإنجليزيّة: Respect Party) هو حزب من الجناح اليساريّ السياسيّ كان نشطًا في المملكة المتحدة بين 2004 و 2016. وصل الحزب إلى ذروة نجاحه في 2007 حيث كان للحزب عضو برلمانيّ في مجلس العموم و19 مستشارًا في الحكومة المحليّة. تأسس حزب الكرامة في لندن، وشارك في تأسيسه كل من سلمى يعقوب وجورج مونبيوت في 2004. خرج الحزب من ائتلاف اوقفوا الحرب، ومنذ بدايته التفَّ أعضاؤه حول معارضة دور المملكة المتحدة في حرب العراق. جمع الحزب طيفًا من المجموعات اليساريّة والمعادية للحرب، وكان متحالفًا مع أقصى اليسار، حزب العمال الاشتراكيّ بصورة غير رسميّة، وكذلك مع الرابطة الإسلاميّة ببريطانيا. انتُخب مرشح حزب الكرامة جورج غالواي كعضو في البرلمان في 2005 عن دائرة بيثنال غرين وبو، بينما جاء الحزب في الترتيب الثاني في ثلاث دوائر أخرى. حاز الحزب على مكاسب أخرى في الانتخابات المحليّة في 2006 و 2007، حيث وصل دعم الحزب في هذه الفترة لذروته. في 2007 حدث انشقاق بين مؤيدي ائتلاف اوقفوا الحرب ومجموعة تجديد الحزب التي قادها غالواي ويعقوب، وتركت تلك المجموعة الحزب ليكوِّنوا حزبًا آخر تحت اسم قائمة اليسار. خسر حزب الكرامة مقاعده الاستشاريّة وخرج من مفوضيّة الانتخابات في 2016. ولأنه حزب اشتراكي معارض للرأسمالية، نادى الحزب بتأميم معظم اقتصاد المملكة المتحدة، ورفع تمويل الخدمات العامة، واتخاذ اجراءات أخرى لمعالجة الفقر والتمييز. كان الحزب معارضًا للاتحاد الأوروبيّ ولديه فلسفة معارضة للاستعماريّة. كما كان الحزب معارضًا للصهيونيّة ومعارضًا لوجود إسرائيل، وداعمًا لوحدة الشعب الفلسطينيّ. - Respect – The Unity Coalition war eine linksgerichtete politische Partei in Großbritannien, die sich aus Protest gegen die britische Beteiligung am Irakkrieg unter Premier Tony Blair von der Labour Party abspaltete und im Januar 2004 offiziell gründete. Der Name der Partei ist ein Akronym für die Wörter respect, equality, socialism, peace, environmentalism, community and trade unionism (RESPECT, englisch für etwa Respekt, Gleichheit, Sozialismus, Frieden, Umweltschutz, Gemeinschaft und Gewerkschaftsbewegung). Die Partei war von 2005 bis 2010 und von 2012 bis 2015 jeweils mit einem Abgeordneten im britischen Unterhaus vertreten. Auf europäischer Ebene Mitglied des Bündnisses Europäische Antikapitalistische Linke. Parteivorsitzende war lange Zeit , die am 11. September 2012 ihren Austritt aus der Partei erklärte. El nombre del partido era el acrónimo en inglés de Respeto, Igualdad, Socialismo, Paz, Ambientalismo, Comunidad y Sindicalismo (RESPECT: respect, equality, socialism, peace, environmentalism, community and trade unionism). La militancia y apoyo del partido provenía de diversos partidos socialistas preexistentes, laboristas desilusionados con la línea oficial del Partido Laborista así como de asociaciones musulmanas. Algunos de sus miembros más conocidos eran George Galloway, el único parlamentario de la formación y el director de cine Ken Loach que formó parte de su directiva. - The Respect Party was a left-wing to far-left, socialist political party active in the United Kingdom between 2004 and 2016. At the height of its success in 2007, the party had one Member of Parliament (MP) in the House of Commons and nineteen councillors in local government. The Respect Party was established in London by Salma Yaqoob and George Monbiot in 2004. Arising in the aftermath of the 2003 invasion of Iraq, it grew out of the Stop the War Coalition and from the start revolved largely around opposition to the United Kingdom's role in the Iraq War. Uniting a range of leftist and anti-war groups, it was unofficially allied to the Muslim Association of Britain (MAB) and the Socialist Workers Party (SWP), a far-left, Marxist group. In 2005, Respect's candidate George Galloway was elected MP for Bethnal Green and Bow and the party came second in three other constituencies. Respect made further gains in the 2006 and 2007 local elections, at which point its support peaked. In 2007, a schism emerged in the party between SWP supporters and the Respect Renewal group led by Galloway and Yaqoob; the former group left the party to form the Left List. Over the coming years, Respect gradually lost its council seats and it deregistered with the Electoral Commission in 2016. Avowedly socialist and opposed to capitalism, Respect called for the nationalisation of much of the UK economy, increased funding to public services, and further measures to tackle poverty and discrimination. It was Eurosceptic and promoted an anti-imperialist worldview. It was also anti-Zionist, opposing the existence of Israel and endorsing the Palestinian solidarity movement. Due to its links with MAB, several commentators claimed that Islamism was a component of its ideology and regarded it as part of a wider alliance between socialists and Islamists within Western Europe. Respect's voting base was primarily among the British Muslim communities in East London, Birmingham and Bradford, where it built upon opposition to the Iraq War and disenchantment among leftist voters with the governing Labour Party.
