- Quebracho (offiziell: Movimiento Patriótico Revolucionario Quebracho, abgekürzt MPR QUebracho) ist eine politische Bewegung in Argentinien, die dem extrem linken politischen Spektrum zugeordnet wird, dem aber auch typische Elemente der rechtsextremen Ideologie (vor allem Antisemitismus und Nationalismus) vorgeworfen werden. Es handelt sich um eine Querfront-Bewegung, die sich auf viele linke Theoretiker beruft, aber auf einer Demonstration die islamfaschistische Hezbollah unterstützte. Sie wurde 1996 von Mitgliedern linker Splitterparteien gegründet und sieht sich in der Tradition der Widerstands- und Guerillabewegungen der 60er und 70er Jahre, wie der Montoneros. - El MPR Quebracho (Movimiento Patriótico Revolucionario «Quebracho»), más conocido como Quebracho― es un movimiento político formado el 31 de agosto de 1996 en Argentina, a partir de un acuerdo entre diversas organizaciones populares ―de diversas tendencias ideológicas que van desde el peronismo de izquierda hasta el marxismo― que decidieron unirse en una sola. Con anterioridad, la referencia política «Quebracho» era conocida por la sociedad a partir del accionar del Movimiento Popular de Unidad-Quebracho, creado en 1993, con fuerte presencia en el frente estudiantil en las localidades de La Plata (provincia de Buenos Aires), Córdoba (provincia de Córdoba) y Posadas (provincia de Misiones). El secretario político del movimiento, Fernando Esteche, señaló que la organización reúne a antiguos miembros de las organizaciones guerrilleras setentistas Montoneros y PRT-ERP, así como también partidarios de corrientes trotskistas o marxistas-leninistas no armadas. Actualmente, Fernando Esteche se encuentra bajo libertad condicional tras haber pasado —junto al ya fallecido , también secretario político— largo tiempo presos por romper el acceso a una sede del partido político del por entonces candidato a presidente Jorge Sobisch y causar destrozos en su interior, durante una manifestación en repudio del asesinato del maestro Carlos Fuentealba, perpetrado por el 5 de abril de 2007 en Arroyito (Neuquén). - Quebracho ([keˈβ̞ɾa.t͡ʃo], "axe-breaker", referring to hard wood) is a far-left group in Argentina that self-proclaims itself as bolivarian. Its official name is Movimiento Patriótico Revolucionario Quebracho (Revolutionary Patriotic Movement Quebracho). According to their own publications, Quebracho define themselves as "a political organization that fights for the national and social liberation of our country. For a just peace, economic independence, and political sovereignty. For the National Anti-Imperialist Revolution." Quebracho promotes the abolition of private property and the reduction of poverty. Its aggressive and confrontational tactics have brought it into conflict with some other leftist organizations, and it is not included in any political coalition on the left side of the spectrum. , who also teaches at the Faculty of Journalism in La Universidad de La Plata, is the top public leader of Quebracho. He was prosecuted and jailed on charges stemming from political violence during a march on April 5, 2007, but was freed in October 2007. In unrelated charges, Esteche and fellow Quebracho leader "Boli" were sentenced to more than three years for "political intimidation" in the escrache of Argentine governor Jorge Sobisch.
