- Pylaros (griechisch Πύλαρος (f. sg.)) ist ein Gemeindebezirk der Gemeinde Sami auf der griechischen Insel Kefalonia. Er entstand 1994 als Gemeinde Pylaros aus dem Zusammenschluss der bis dahin selbständigen Gemeinden Makryotika, Divarata und Agia Effimia und ging mit der Verwaltungsreform 2010 zunächst in der geschaffenen Gemeinde Kefalonia auf, wo er einen Gemeindebezirk mit 1391 Einwohnern bildete. Nach der Auflösung dieser Gemeinde kam der Gemeindebezirk Pylaros zur neu gegründeten Gemeinde Sami. (de)
- Ο Δήμος Πυλαρέων ήταν ένας από τους επτά δήμους και μία κοινότητα, στους οποίους διαιρούνταν διοικητικά η Κεφαλονιά την περίοδο που ίσχυσε το πρόγραμμα Καποδίστριας. Λειτούργησε την περίοδο 1999 -2010 οπότε και καταργήθηκε με την εφαρμογή του προγράμματος Καλλικράτης και εντάχθηκε στον νέο δήμο Κεφαλονιάς. Βρισκόταν στο βόρειο τμήμα του νησιού. Ο δήμος Πυλαρέων αποτελούνταν από 3 δημοτικά διαμερίσματα, καταλάμβανε έκταση 81,1 τ.χλμ. και είχε συνολικό πληθυσμό 1.565 κατοίκους. Έδρα του δήμου ήταν η Αγία Ευφημία. È stato soppresso a seguito della riforma amministrativa, detta Programma Callicrate, in vigore dal gennaio 2011 ed è ora compreso nel comune di Cefalonia. Il comune, situato nella parte settentrionale dell'isola fu istituito nel 1994. Il centro principale è Agia Effimia Il territorio è soprattutto montuoso e si affaccia su due versanti marini. La popolazione è dedita soprattutto al turismo, all'allevamento di ovini e all'apicultura. Qui come altrove nell'isola di Cefalonia, la popolazione ha subito un decremento progressivo dopo il disastroso terremoto del 1953, migrando in massa per gli Stati Uniti e per l'Australia. (it)
