- Prosper Cravath, Jr., (May 28, 1809 – May 20, 1886) was an American lawyer and Wisconsin pioneer. He was one of the original settlers of Whitewater, Wisconsin, and helped lay out the town plat. He represented Whitewater in the Wisconsin State Assembly during the 1st Wisconsin Legislature (1848). He is the namesake of Cravath Lake in Whitewater. (en)
