- Project Pop is an Indonesian comedic co-ed group from Bandung. Founded in 1996 as a younger generation of Project-P, they distinguished themselves by writing original music. Their first album, Bakpia vs Lumpia was a commercial and critical failure, but beginning with their 2000 album Tu Wa Ga Pat they found mainstream success. Drawing on current musical trends when writing their songs, they have done songs in pop, dangdut, soul, rock, house, and rap. As of 2017, they have released nine albums. (en)

Para anggotanya berasal dari grup komedi Padhyangan yang dibentuk pada 4 Desember 1982 dan berangggotakan mahasiswa–mahasiswa dari Fakultas Sastra Universitas Padjadjaran dan Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Politik Universitas Katholik Parahyangan. Kata Padhayangan sendiri merupakan singkatan dari Padjadjaran dan Parahyangan. (in)

Pierwotnie w skład formacji weszło siedem osób: Muhammad Fachroni (Oon), Gumilar Nurochman (Gugum), Wahyu Rudi Astadi (Odie), Kartika Rachel Panggabean (Tika), Djoni Permato (Udjo), Hermann Josis Mokalu (Yosi), Hilman Mutasi (Hilman). W 2000 r. Hilman podjął decyzję o opuszczeniu grupy. 13 stycznia 2017 r. jeden z członków zespołu – Oon – zmarł na skutek powikłań cukrzycy. Od tej pory w zespole działa pięciu członków. Swój debiutancki album zatytułowany Lumpia Vs Bakpia wydali w 1996 roku. W 2000 r. wyszedł kolejny album grupy pt. Tu Wa Ga Pat. (pl)
