Die Rekonstruktion des Forts aus den 1930er Jahren liegt am ursprünglichen Ort der Festung, also von Churchill aus gesehen jenseits des Churchill River. Militärisch und ökonomisch war die Festung zwar ein Fehlschlag, doch beeinflusste sie im 18.
