- أمير البرازيل (البرتغالية:Príncipe do Brasil) هو لقب وريث عرش البرتغال استخدم هذا اللقب في عهد جواو الرابع عام 1645 حتى عهد جواو السادس عام 1815 بعد انهى إستعمارية البرازيل تحولها إلى مملكة وتم اسستبدالها بالأمير الملكي وفي وقت لاحق تم استقلال البرازيل وانشاء الإمبراطورية البرازيلية تم خلق الأمير الإمبراطوري البرازيلي في البرازيل و أمير الملكي للبرتغال في البرتغال. - El títol de Príncep del Brasil és un títol nobiliari que fou utilitzat al Regne de Portugal, conferit normalment al príncep hereu de la casa reial, en substitució del de príncep de Portugal. El títol va ser creat pel rei Joan IV de Portugal el 1645, substituint l'antic títol que s'havia utilitzat fins aleshores. en favor del seu primogènit , al qual també se li va atorgar el títol de duc de Bragança. Per Carta de Llei de 16 de desembre de 1815 es va refundar la monarquia, que va passar a anomenar-se Regne Unit de Portugal, el Brasil i l'Algarve, quelcom que va afectar també el nom del títol del príncep hereu, que va passar a tenir la mateixa denominació que el regne. Amb la independència del Brasil, declarada el 1822, el títol va passar a formar part de la casa reial del Brasil, rebent el nom de Príncep Imperial del Brasil. (ca)

Tied with the title of Prince of Brazil was the title Duke of Braganza and the various subsidiary titles of the Dukedom of Braganza. The title's name has its origins in the State of Brazil, a colony of the Portuguese Empire. The term "Principality of Brazil" is anachronistic, having never been used as the official title of Brazil in the period in question, in the same way that the "Principality of Beira" related to the nobiliarchic title Prince of Beira never existed. During this period, Brazil was officially designated as the State of Brazil.
