- Pleasure Island was an area of the Downtown Disney shopping, dining and entertainment district at Walt Disney World Resort. It officially opened on May 1, 1989. In September 2008, all of its clubs were closed, but its retail stores and restaurants remained open. The area is now called The Landing and is the central part of Disney Springs. (en)

Elle accueille depuis son ouverture en mai 1989 plusieurs discothèques ainsi que des restaurants et des boutiques. En raison de son activité la zone est payante, réservée aux adultes et ouverte à partir de 19h. L'île artificielle couvre une superficie de 2,4 ha en bordure du Lake Buena Vista (de 15 ha). Trois ponts permettent d'accéder à l'île, le premier à l'est côté Marketplace, le second à l'ouest côté West Side et le dernier depuis le parking au sud de l'île. On peut donc découper arbitrairement la zone en deux, une zone à l'est et l'autre à l'ouest (fr)
