Pin is a 1981 American gothic horror thriller novel by Andrew Neiderman, which explores the dysfunctional childhood and later adulthood of two siblings haunted by "Pin", their father's medical anatomy doll which resides in his office and "speaks" via ventriloquism on the father's part. The book was adapted into a Canadian-American film by the same title in 1988.
