- Der Peugeot Quark ist ein Konzeptfahrzeug des französischen Kraftfahrzeugherstellers Peugeot. Das von der Anlage einem Quad ähnelnde Fahrzeug mit zwei Sitzen ist mit 2,38 Meter Gesamtlänge kürzer als ein Smart Fortwo. Das 425 Kilogramm schwere Auto wird von 4 elektrischen Radnabenmotoren angetrieben. Insgesamt ein Höchstdrehmoment von 400 Nm und eine Höchstleistung von 46 PS. Die maximale Dauerleistung liegt bei 28 kW (37,5 PS). Der Quark soll in ca. 6,5 Sekunden von 0 km/h auf 50 km/h beschleunigen und eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 110 km/h erreichen. Je nach Fahrweise wird eine Maximalreichweite von 100 bis 130 Kilometer angegeben. Als Energiequelle dient eine Brennstoffzelle. Der Wasserstofftank ist eine 9-Liter-Flasche mit 70 MPa (700 bar). Das „Nachtanken“ ist also ein einfaches Auswechseln der Flasche. Ob der Quark je in Serie geht, war im Mai 2010 noch nicht bekannt. (de)
- The Peugeot Quark was a concept car from Peugeot, rather like a four-wheeled motorcycle or a quad bike. The Quark was first displayed at the 2004 Paris Motor Show and later at the 2005 Amsterdam Motor Show. It utilised hydrogen fuel cells and had an electric motor on each of the four wheels. All four motors combined gave the Quark 28 kW (38 hp). It could drive approximately 130 kilometres (81 mi) before requiring refuelling. The Quark was 2.38 metres (94 in) long and 1.50 metres (59 in) wide. Its empty weight was 450 kg (992 lb) and its top speed is 110 km/h (68 mph). It could accelerate to 50 km/h (31 mph) in 6.5 seconds, and coukd carry two people with an additional load of 140 kg (309 lb). The Quark was not intended for production and can now be seen in Paris at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie. (en)
