- El vi amb absenta (vin pelin en romanès) és un vi especiat amb la planta d'absenta (no amb la beguda absenta) típic de Romania. S'acostuma a preparar en primavera i és un vi suau i aromàtic que pot tenir diferents receptes segons la regió, tal com descriu el gastrònom a la seva obra Bucate Vinuri și Obiceiuri Românești (Plats, Vins i Costums romanesos). - Pelin wine is made by mixing wine with Artemisia absinthium (Bulgarian: Пелин) during fermentation, giving the wine a bitter, refreshing taste. This wine is popular in Eastern-Europe from 1 May until the summer. White wine and red wine can both be flavoured with Pelin. Pelin wine differs from absinthe and pelinkovac, which are based on distilled alcohol rather than wine. (en)
