- Die Parlamentarische Versammlung der OSZE, englisch Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCEPA), ist eine Institution der Organisation für Sicherheit und Zusammenarbeit in Europa (OSZE). Die Hauptaufgabe der Versammlung mit 323 Mitgliedern aus 56 Ländern, die wiederum entsandte Abgeordnete ihrer nationalen Parlamente sind, besteht darin den interparlamentarischen Dialog zu fördern. Die Versammlung wird von einem jährlich Vorsitzenden geleitet, seit Juli 2021 hat diese Funktion inne. Die Versammlung wird von einem Generalsekretariat mit Sitz in Kopenhagen unterstützt. (de)
- L’Assemblée parlementaire de l’OSCE (AP-OSCE) est une institution de l’Organisation pour la sécurité et la coopération en Europe. La mission principale de l’Assemblée, composée de 323 membres, est de faciliter le dialogue interparlementaire, un aspect primordial de l’effort global déployé en vue de répondre aux défis de la démocratie au sein des 57 États participants d’Amérique du Nord et d’Eurasie. Reconnue au titre d’un accord régional en vertu de la Charte des Nations Unies, l’OSCE constitue un outil de base pour la détection et la prévention des conflits, la gestion des crises et la réadaptation des collectivités touchées dans sa zone d’influence. L’Assemblée parlementaire, créée par la Charte de Paris de 1990 afin de promouvoir une plus grande implication des parlements nationaux au sein de l’OSCE, est la plus ancienne des institutions de l’OSCE. - The Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE (OSCE PA) is an institution of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. The primary task of the 323-member Assembly is to facilitate inter-parliamentary dialogue, an important aspect of the overall effort to meet the challenges of democracy throughout the OSCE area. The Parliamentary Assembly pursues objectives which are stated in the preamble of the Assembly's Rules of Procedure: assess the implementation of OSCE objectives by participating States; discuss subjects addressed during meetings of the Ministerial Council and summit meetings of OSCE Heads of State or Government; develop and promote mechanisms for the prevention and resolution of conflicts; support the strengthening and consolidation of democratic institutions in OSCE participating States; contribute to the development of OSCE institutional structures and of relations and co-operation between existing OSCE institutions. To pursue these objectives, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly employs a variety of means: a Final Declaration and a number of resolutions and recommendations are adopted each year at the Annual Session; committee work addresses important contemporary international issues; different programmes, including an extensive Election Observation Programme, and various seminars, have been designed to develop and strengthen democracy; and delegations are sent on special missions to areas of latent or active crisis. The Parliamentary Assembly was originally established by the 1990 Paris Summit to promote greater involvement in the OSCE by national parliaments of the participating States. By passing resolutions and issuing formal recommendations to the OSCE's governmental side and to parliaments, it aims to pursue the implementation of OSCE objectives by participating States, including through legislative action.
