- Palatinate-Mosbach was a state of the Holy Roman Empire centred on Mosbach and Eberbach in the north of modern Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Palatinate-Mosbach was created in 1410 out of the partition of the Palatinate after the death of King Rupert III for his son Otto. In 1448 Otto inherited half of Palatinate-Neumarkt, purchased the other half, and renamed his state Palatinate-Mosbach-Neumarkt. (en)

La branche palatine de la maison de Wittelsbach s'est divisée après la mort de Robert III du Palatinat en 1410 en quatre branches, la branche électorale avec la capitale Heidelberg et les branches Palatinat-Neumarkt, Palatinat-Simmern et Palatinat-Mosbach. La branche Palatinat-Mosbach est fondée par , le plus jeune fils de Robert, qui s'installe à Mosbach. Son mariage avec a eu neuf enfants. Avec l'extinction de la branche Palatinat-Neumarkt en 1448, leur possession passe à la branche Palatinat-Mosbach et devient le Palatinat-Mosbach-Neumarkt. Neumarkt est utilisé par le comte palatin Othon comme deuxième ville de résidence. La dinastia che lo governò appartenne a un ramo cadetto dei Wittelsbach, la casa di Baviera e del Palatinato. A queste terre furono poi aggiunte in seguito quelle del Palatinato-Neumarkt. Esistette dal 1410 al 1499, finché non venne riassorbito nelle terre del Palatinato Elettorale. (it)

O Palatinado-Mosbach foi criado em 1410 por desagregação do Eleitorado do Palatinado após a morte do rei Roberto da Germânia (que também era Eleitor Palatino sob o nome de Ruperto III) para o seu filho mais novo Otão. Entretanto, já em 1448, Otão herdou metade do Palatinado-Neumarkt e adquiriu a outra metade, integrando os territórios e redenominando o seu novo estado como Palatinado-Mosbach-Neumarkt. (pt)
