- Der Rivière Ouelle ist ein rechter Nebenfluss des Sankt-Lorenz-Stroms in der Verwaltungsregion Bas-Saint-Laurent der kanadischen Provinz Québec. Der Rivière Ouelle hat seinen Ursprung in dem kleinen See in den Monts Notre-Dame. Auf den ersten 15 km trägt er die Bezeichnung Bras de la Rivière Ouelle. Er fließt über eine Gesamtstrecke von 72 km in nördlicher Richtung durch die MRC Kamouraska, passiert die Gemeinde und mündet schließlich bei in das Ästuar des Sankt-Lorenz-Stroms. Auf einem kurzen Flussabschnitt oberhalb der Mündung machen sich die Gezeiten bemerkbar. Der Fluss entwässert ein Areal von 860 km². Der Rivière Ouelle ist mit dem Kanu befahrbar. Am Unterlauf befinden sich mehrere Stromschnellen. Der Atlantische Lachs wurde erfolgreich im Fluss wiederangesiedelt. Der Rivière Ouelle wurde zu Ehren von , Sieur du Petit-Pré, benannt. Dieser war Mitglied der Compagnie des Cent-Associés und königlicher Sekretär im damaligen Neufrankreich. (de)
- The Ouelle River (in French: rivière Ouelle) is a tributary of the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. This river flows successively in the MRC of:
* L'Islet Regional County Municipality (administrative region of Chaudière-Appalaches): municipalities of Sainte-Perpétue, Tourville and Saint-Damase-de-L'Islet;
* Kamouraska Regional County Municipality (administrative region of Bas-Saint-Laurent): municipalities of Saint-Onésime-d'Ixworth, Saint-Gabriel-Lalemant, Saint-Pacôme and Rivière-Ouelle. The Ouelle River flows through the towns of Saint-Pacôme and Rivière-Ouelle in Québec and enters the Saint Lawrence River to the west of Rivière-Ouelle. There are waterfalls (French: Chutes de la Riviere Ouelle) close to the village of Saint-Gabriel-de-Kamouraska. The main shock epicentre of the Charlevoix earthquake of 1663 is believed to have occurred along the Saint Lawrence River between the mouth of the Malbaie River on the north and the mouth of the Ouelle on the south.
