- الدراسات غير الربحية (بالإنجليزية: Nonprofit studies) هي التعليم والأبحاث في حقول متعددة التخصصات mutidisciplinary – دمج بين تخصصين أكاديميين أو أكثر في نشاط واحد – تركز على ممارسات القطاعات غير الربحية يعود نشاطها إلى 1920. هذا المجال من الدراسات يَتَحَقق من إدارة وفعالية القطاعات غير الربحية . كما أن لديها أبحاث في مجالات فرعية تتضمن: الإدارة، التسويق، الإتصال، الاقتصاد، الموارد البشرية، الإحسان، الأخلاق، القانون، تكنولوجيا المعلومات، المشاريع الإجتماعية، منح الكتابة، السياسة، جمع التبرعات، الدفاع، التطوع، بحث البيانات، الإرتباط المدني. العديد من مؤسسات التعليم العالي ومنظمات البحث مُخصصة للتدريس والبحث في القضايا المتعلقة المتعلقة في القطاعات غير الربحية . تُعطى الشهادات المتعلقة في الأبحاث غير الربحية لطلاب الجامعات والدراسات العليا ودرجة الدكتوراة .بالإضافة إلى الدورات الفردية ضمن التخصصات ذات الصلة مثل ( إدارة الأعمال، دراسات الاتصال، علم الاجتماع، السياسة العامة ). الدراسات غير الربحية ممكن أن تكون دراسات في حقل التطوع، القطاع الثالث، المنظمات غير الربحية أو المجتمع المدني. - Nonprofit studies is a multidisciplinary field of teaching and research that focuses on practices of the nonprofit sector and can date back to the 1920s. This area of inquiry examines the management and effectiveness of the nonprofit sector, and has sub-areas of research including administration, marketing, communication, economics, human resources, philanthropy, ethics, law, information technology, social entrepreneurship, grant writing, policy, fundraising, advocacy, volunteerism, , and civic engagement. A variety of higher education institutions and research organizations are dedicated to the teaching and research of issues related to the nonprofit sector. Degrees related to nonprofit studies are offered at undergraduate, graduate and doctorate levels. Additionally, individual courses within related disciplines (e.g. Business, Communication Studies, Sociology, Public Policy) examine nonprofit studies in a variety of contexts. Nonprofit studies may also refer to studies of the voluntary sector, third sector, nongovernmental organizations, or civil society. (en)
