- Nepenthes clipeata je kriticky ohrožený druh láčkovky, který se vyskytuje pouze na hoře Kelam v Západním Kalimantanu nedaleko města . Zde ji poprvé objevil německý botanik v roce 1894. O 34 let později, v roce 1928, druh pak vědecky popsal a odborný název rostlině udělil podle téměř kulatých listů. Láčkovku okomentoval jako jednu z nejpodivnějších a nejnápadnějších v celém rodu. It has an altitudinal distribution between approximately 600 and 800 m. Nepenthes clipeata is perhaps the most endangered of all Nepenthes species, with only an estimated 15 plants remaining in the wild as of 1995 (although see N. pitopangii and N. rigidifolia). (en)
