- يعتبر ناصر يوسف جكو من أشهر وأروع لاعبي زمانه وفطحل من فطاحل الكرة العراقية، لعب في مركز المهاجم الثاني، ولد في بغداد عام 1917. دخل مدرسة الطاهرة الابتدائية وفيها تعلم ومارس كرة القدم على أصولها، أختير عام 1935 لتمثيل منتخب معارف بغداد. وفي عام 1936 انضم إلى فريق القوة الجوية وظل يلعب وفياً لناديه حتى اعتزاله اللعب عام 1957. أستدعي عام 1938 ليمثل منتخب العراق (و هو منتخب غير رسمي شكلته وزارة المعارف لملاقاة فريق بردى السوري). وفي عام 1943 لعب لمنتخب العراق العسكري في دورة ثلاثية ضمته إلى جانب منتخبي انكلترا وبولندا. وفي عام 1945 استدعي إلى تشكيلة منتخب معارف العراق الذي فاز على منتخب معارف لبنان 4-1. وفي عام 1950 استعاره فريق الحرس الملكي من ناديه القوة الجوية في مباراته امام منتخب باكستان (أول منتخب دولي يزور بغداد). عام 1951 تم تكشيل منتخب العراق لكرة القدم رسمياً واستدعي من قبل المدرب ضياء حبيب ليكون ضمن المنتخب في جولته بتركيا. شارك مع المنتخب العسكري بدوره معرض دمشق الدولي عام 1954 وسجل خمسة اهداف في مباراة منتخبنا العسكري مع منتخب لبنان. وفي عام 1955 كان قلب هجوم منتخب العراق العسكري في المباراة المشهورة بين مصر والعراق ضمن تصفيات كأس العالم العسكري، وطالبه في حينها حنفي بسطان قائد منتخب مصر بالاعتزال لافول نجمه في المباراة وبزوغ نجم عمو بابا إلا انه واصل اللعب وسافر إلى طهران للمشاركة في دورة الجيوش الآسيوية واحرز هدفين في مرمى سوريا. اعتزل اللعب عام عام 1957 وأتجه للتدريب وفي عام 1958 قاد فريق الامانة للفوز ببطولتي الدوري . اعتزل العمل الرياضي عام 1963. وتوفي في 26 ايلول 1991 إثر مرض عضال. امتد عصره في الفن والابداع عبر ثلاثة عقود من الزمن كان فيها واحداً من أساطير الكرة العراقية، لقبه الناقد الرياضي المعروف إبراهيم إسماعيل بـ (الأسطورة الرياضية الخالدة). - Nassir "Chico" Yousef (1917 – September 26, 1991) was an Iraqi footballer, who played for Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya and the Iraq, playing for the first Iraqi team in 1951 during the 1950s. Yousef was born in Baghdad in 1917 in the local Al-Ammar district in the Al-Abkhana area, near Al-Senak area in the Iraqi capital. He was proficient in scoring goals from various angles and situations. Yousef studied at Tahra Primary School and has been practicing football from an early age. He was given the name Chico because of his size by a group of British soldiers during the start of his career during the late 1930s. Yousef joined the Baghdad school team Maaraf Baghdad representing the Ministry of Education before he joined Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya in 1936, and continued to play for the team until he retired and turned to coaching. He stayed with the club until his retirement in 1959. In 1938, the Ministry of Education established an unofficial Iraqi national team and Yousef, was selected to represent the team in a friendly match in Baghdad against Syrian Barada Club. He appeared for the Baghdad Select side in high-profiled international matches against the army teams of England and Poland in 1943. Two years later (1945), Yousef was summoned to play for the Baghdad Maaraf team against Lebanon, which ended with Iraq's victory in the two meetings (1–0) and (4–1). In 1950, he guested for the Royal Guards team for one match against the Pakistan national team in Baghdad. Yousef was one of the eleven players who lined-up against Turkey B team in Ankara in 1951, to make up Iraq’s first ever national team. He was the star of the Iraqi Army team which participated in the Arab Army Games in 1954 and played in the Six Team Army Tournament the next year in Tehran. Yousef helped Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya become a successful team in Iraq since its 1931 founding, guiding them to a number of cups and championships during his long career with the club, which ended in 1959. Even though Chico was only seen by fans at stadiums in Iraq and heard on the radio during the 1950s, he had managed to develop a legendary status with Iraqi fans of today. The Iraqi football writer Shaker Ismail nicknamed him 'the Eternal Footballing Legend'. He retired from sports in 1963 and died on September 26, 1991 following an illness. Nassir coached Amana Al-Asama to the Iraqi Central Cup Championship in 1959. (en)
