The show is produced by Endemol Globo and it was the last presented by journalist Pedro Bial, replaced by Tiago Leifert in 2017, after leaving the sports department, 1 year before the premiere of the talk show Conversa com Bial. The grand prize is R$1.5 million with tax allowances, with a R$150,000 prize offered to the runner-up and a R$50,000 prize offered to the 3rd place. 19 Year Old Student Munik Nunes won this season on Day 78. A edição foi a última com a apresentação de Pedro Bial (que em 2017 foi substituído por Tiago Leifert), e teve direção geral de Rodrigo Dourado. Dadá Coelho foi a repórter, substituindo Vinícius Valverde. Esta foi a quarta edição a ser exibida em HD. Também a segunda edição em que foi possível acompanhar em múltiplas plataformas através do BBB Play e do Globo Play e a segunda edição a estrear na segunda quinzena de janeiro. A edição terminou com a vitória da estudante Munik Nunes, que recebeu a média de 61,59% dos votos, e faturou o prêmio máximo de R$ 1,5 milhão sem desconto de impostos, tornando-se a vencedora mais jovem da história do programa, com 19 anos de idade.
