- MullMuzzler byl progresivní metalový hudební projekt zpěváka formace Dream Theater Jamese LaBrieho, který vznikl před jeho sólovým projektem z roku 2005. Seskupení hudebníků bylo vytvořeno ze zpěváka samotného, , Mika Manginiho a . Nahrávací společnost nedovolila LaBriemu pro tento projekt použít jeho jméno a on se proto rozhodl, že jejich produkce bude vydávána pod společným názvem MullMuzzler. Postupně se LaBriemu podařilo vydavatele přesvědčit, aby bylo jeho jméno použité, ale i tak se alba seskupení nemohou označovat jako jeho sólové projekty. (cs)

La banda está formada por James LaBrie, , Mike Mangini y Mike Keneally. La compañía disquera no permitía que LaBrie usará su nombre para el grupo, así que fue creado el nombre de Mullmuzzler. Mullmuzzler combina conceptos del heavy metal con alguna tipo de semejanza del estilo Dream Theater. Elements of Persuasion es el último trabajo discográfico de esta banda y es el tercer álbum en la historia del grupo. Elements of Persuasion fue lanzado al mercado el 29 de marzo de 2005. The record company would not allow LaBrie to use his own name, so he created the name of MullMuzzler. LaBrie coined the word MullMuzzler and defined it as: to gag or silence an individual's thought before it can be expressed in any manner. For the follow-up, he negotiated the right to use his name although still unable to simply credit it as his solo album. (en)
