- El Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo de España fue un departamento ministerial con competencias en industria, energía, turismo y telecomunicaciones. Existió con esta denominación desde 2011 hasta 2016, en el primer Gobierno de Rajoy (x legislatura y con su titular en funciones durante la xi legislatura). Durante la xii legislatura sus competencias fueron repartidas en los nuevos ministerios de Economía, Industria y Competitividad y el de Energía, Turismo y Agenda Digital. (es)
- El Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Turismo (MINCOTUR) de España es el Departamento de la Administración General del Estado con competencias en la propuesta y ejecución de la política del Gobierno de la Nación en materia de industria, comercio y turismo que abarca, entre otros aspectos, el desarrollo industrial y de la pequeña y mediana empresa, la promoción y defensa de la propiedad industrial, la política comercial de internacionalización y de inversiones y transacciones exteriores, así como la política de turismo. El Ministerio de Industria, junto con el Ministerio de Defensa, tiene una importante presencia en la industria militar. El MINCOTUR supervisa las importaciones y exportaciones de material militar a través de la Junta Interministerial Reguladora del Comercio Exterior de Material de Defensa y Doble Uso de la SEC. Asimismo, el Ministerio de Industria otorga con regularidad préstamos al Ministerio de Defensa o a empresas para el fomento de esta industria y la realización de proyectos militares. Asimismo, le corresponde a este Departamento el impulso de las acciones de cooperación y, en coordinación con el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores, Unión Europea y Cooperación, de las relaciones internacionales en dichas materias. - The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism (MINCOTUR) is the department of the Government of Spain responsible for the proposal and execution of the government policy on industry, trade and tourism, including among its competences the industrial development and of the SMEs, the promotion and defense of the industrial property, the commercial policy of internationalization and of investments and external transactions, as well as the politics of tourism and the rest of competences and attributions that the legal system attributes to it. Likewise, in coordination with the Foreign Ministry is responsible for the international cooperation on this matters. The Industry Ministry, along with the Defence Ministry, has an important presence in the military industry. The MINCOTUR supervises the imports and exports of military materials through the Interministerial Regulatory Board on Foreign Trade of Defense Material and Dual Purpose (JIMDDU) of the Secretariat of State for Trade. Likewise, the Ministry of Industry regularly grants loans to state-owned enterprises for the promotion of this industry and the realization of military projects. The MINCOTUR is headed by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, who is appointed by the Monarch at request of the Prime Minister, after hearing the Council of Ministers. The Minister, currently the economist Reyes Maroto, is assisted by four main officials, the Secretary of State for Tourism, the Secretary of State for Trade, the Secretary General for Industry and Small and Medium Enterprises and the Under Secretary of Industry, Trade and Tourism.
