- Michael Kimmelman (* 8. května 1958) je americký novinář, umělecký kritik a klavírista. Narodil se v newyorské čtvrti Greenwich Village, kde také prožil dětství. Nejprve studoval na Yaleově univerzitě a později na Harvardově univerzitě, kde získal titul v oboru dějin umění. Rovněž studoval hru na klavír. Koncem osmdesátých let začal přispívat do The New York Times. Později se zde stal hlavním uměleckým kritikem. (cs)

He has reported from more than 40 countries and twice been a Pulitzer Prize finalist, most recently in 2018 for his series on climate change and global cities. In March 2014, he was awarded the Brendan Gill Prize for his "insightful candor and continuous scrutiny of New York's architectural environment" that is "journalism at its finest." (en)
