- La Iglesia de María Estrella del Mar(en neerlandés: Maria Sterre der Zee kerk; en inglés: Mary Star of the Sea Church) es el nombre que recibe un edificio religioso de la Iglesia Católica ubicado en la localidad de Simpson Bay en San Martín (Países Bajos) en la parte neerlandesa de la isla caribeña de San Martín en las Pequeñas Antillas, un territorio dependiente del Reino de los Países Bajos. Se trata de una templo que sigue el rito romano o latino y depende de la diócesis católica de Willemstad con sede en la isla de Curazao. Todas las misas se ofrecen en inglés. Su historia se remonta a 1897 cuando comenzó como una pequeña capilla, que luego fue sustituida por la necesidad de un edificio más amplio con la presente iglesia de dedicada a Santa María Estrella del Mar en 1965. - The Mary Star of the Sea Church (Dutch: Maria Sterre der Zee kerk) is a religious building of the Catholic Church located in the town of Simpson Bay in St. Maarten in the Dutch part of the Caribbean island of St. Martin in the Lesser Antilles, a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It is a temple that follows the Roman or Latin rite and depends on the Catholic Diocese of Willemstad based on the island of Curacao. All Masses are offered in English. Its history dates back to 1897 when it began as a small chapel, which was later replaced by the need for a larger building and this church was dedicated to St. Mary Star of the Sea in 1965. (en)
- De Maria Sterre der Zeekerk is een rooms-katholieke kerk in Simpson Bay op het Nederlandse deel van het eiland Sint Maarten. De kerk ligt aan de Simpson Bay Road. De kerk is gewijd aan Sterre der Zee, een andere naam voor Maria, en is onderdeel van het Bisdom Willemstad. In 1844 werd op het eiland de eerste kerk gebouwd, de Sint-Martinus van Tourskerk. Door de toename van geloof en bevolking op het eiland was enkel die kerk al snel te weinig. Daarom werd in 1897 (op de plek van de Maria Sterre der Zeekerk) een kapel gebouwd. Deze werd in 1965 uitgebreid tot de Maria Sterre der Zeekerk, zoals die er nu is. In 1977 werd nog een kerk gebouwd, de Risen Christ Catholic Church, in South Reward. (nl)
