- Marie-France Garaud (born 3 March 1934) is a French politician. She was a private advisor for President Pompidou and Jacques Chirac during his first time as Prime Minister. In the 1970s, she was considered to be the most influential woman of France. She ran in the 1981 French presidential election and sat at the European parliament from 1999 to 2004, elected on the list of Charles Pasqua and Philippe de Villiers. She voted "no" in the French Maastricht Treaty referendum and in the 2005 French European Constitution referendum. (en)

De 1969 à 1974, avec Pierre Juillet, elle est une influente conseillère du président Georges Pompidou. Soutien du jeune Jacques Chirac, elle est avec Pierre Juillet une « éminence grise » dans la fondation du Rassemblement pour la République (RPR) en 1976 et rédige en 1978 l'appel de Cochin contre la droite pro-européenne incarnée par l'Union pour la démocratie française (UDF). Tous deux quittent l'entourage de Jacques Chirac après l'échec relatif du RPR aux élections européennes de 1979. Sans l'investiture du RPR, elle se présente à l'élection présidentielle de 1981, où elle obtient 1,33 % des voix. L’année suivante, elle fonde et prend la présidence de l'Institut international de géopolitique (IIG). Élue sur les listes du Rassemblement pour la France, elle est députée européenne de 1999 à 2004.
