- María Laïná, en grec moderne : Μαρία Λαϊνά, née en 1947 à Patras, est une poétesse grecque. Elle étudie le droit à l'université d'Athènes, mais elle ne pratique jamais le droit. Au lieu de cela, elle travaille comme traductrice, critique d'art, scénariste, professeur de grec et productrice de radio. Elle appartient à la génération des années 1970, terme littéraire désignant les écrivains grecs qui ont commencé à publier leurs œuvres dans les années 1970, notamment vers la fin de la dictature des colonels de sept ans et les premières années de transition qui suivent. Elle reçoit le prix de poésie de l'État pour son recueil Ρόδινος φόβος (Peur rose), en 1993 et le prix Cavafy, avec (el), en 1996. En 1998, elle reçoit le prix Maria Callas pour l'émission (el) de l'ERT. Sa poésie est traduite en anglais, en français et en espagnol. (fr)

She belongs to the so-called , which is a literary term referring to Greek authors who began publishing their work during the 1970s, especially towards the end of the Greek military junta of 1967–1974 and at the first years of the Metapolitefsi. She was awarded the State Prize for Poetry for her collection Ρόδινος φόβος in 1993, and the Cavafy together with Giorgos Markopoulos in 1996. Her poetry has been translated into English, French and Spanish. (en)
