- MTV Brand New war ein deutscher Pay-TV-Sender, der vom 1. Februar 2011 bis zum 6. Januar 2021 gesendet hat. Er wurde in MTV Hits umbenannt. Sitz des Spartensenders ist in Berlin. Der Sender zeigt rund um die Uhr Musikvideos in einer einzigen Musikstrecke ohne Werbeunterbrechung. Laut Eigendarstellung ist er ein „Chartbasierender Musiksender“. Zielgruppe sind männliche und weibliche Zuschauer von 14 bis 39 Jahren. Der Sender ist in Deutschland und der Schweiz, in Österreich bisher nicht empfangbar. In den Niederlanden gab es einen gleichnamigen Sender vom 1. August 2006 bis 1. Februar 2021.Der Sender MTV brand:new in Italien wurde am 10. Januar 2011 eingestellt, nachdem er am 14.
