- Luci Salvi Otó Titià o Ticià (Lucius Salvius Otho Titianus) va ser un magistrat romà, fill de Luci Salvi Otó (Lucius Salvius Otho), cònsol l'any 33 i germà gran de l'emperador Otó. Va ser nomenat cònsol el 52 juntament amb Faust Corneli Sul·la. L'any 63 era procònsol a Àsia i tenia com a qüestor a Gneu Juli Agrícola. A la seva província es va dedicar a tota mena de rapacitats i extorsions, en les que Agrícola no va participar. A la mort de Galba el gener del 69, Titià va ser nomenat cònsol per segona vegada, junt amb el seu germà Otó l'emperador. Quan aquest va deixar Roma per combatre els partidaris de Vitel·li, va deixar a Titià encarregat del govern de la ciutat, però aviat el va cridar i li va donar el comandament de la guerra. Els seus dubtes en el combat i l'afany de relacionar-se amb els oficials de Vitel·li, van causar en part que Otó perdés l'imperi. Titianus stammte aus Ferentium und war Sohn des Lucius Salvius Otho, Suffektkonsul im Jahr 33, und der Albia Terentia. Seine Ehefrau war Cocceia. Sein Sohn Lucius Salvius Otho Cocceianus war im Jahr 82 Suffektkonsul. Im Jahr 52 wurde Titianus ordentlicher Konsul und im Jahr 63/64 oder vielleicht 64/65 Prokonsul der Provinz Asia. Im Jahr 69 wurde er zusammen mit seinem Bruder Suffektkonsul. Otho betraute Titianus Anfang April 69 mit dem Oberbefehl über seine Truppen. As a Roman senator, he was consul in the year 52 as the colleague of Faustus Cornelius Sulla Felix, and appointed consul as his brother's colleague for the period from Galba's murder to the end of February. Titianus was given the daily responsibilities of the emperor by Otho when Otho left Rome to halt the advance of Vitellius into Italy. Subsequently, Titianus was appointed generalissimo in charge of the war by Otho and was present at the First Battle of Bedriacum. Titianus was a member of the Arval Brethren, serving as promagistrate at least five times beginning in the year 57 into the year 69. The sortition awarded him the proconsular governorship of Asia for the term 63/64. (en)
