- ليلى فرسخ (ولدت عام 1967 في الأردن) هي باحثة فلسطينية في مجال الإقتصاد السياسي. تعمل كأستاذ مشارك في العلوم السياسية بجامعة ماساتشوستس في بوسطن. تخصصت ليلى في مجالات سياسات الشرق الأوسط والسياسية المقارنة والسياسة في الصراع العربي الإسرائيلي. حصلت على ماجيستير من جامعة كامبريدج في إنجلترا عام 1990 . كما حصلت على دكتوراه من جامعة لندن عام 2003. أجرت بحثا بعد حصولها على درجة الدكتوراه في . كما تابعت أبحاثها في مركز الدراسات الدولية بمعهد ماساتشوستس للتكنولوجيا. عملت مع عدد من المنظمات منها منظمة التعاون الإقتصادي و التنمية في باريس في الفترة من عام 1993 إلى عام 1996، ومعهد أبحاث السياسات الاقتصادية الفلسطيني في رام الله في الفترة من عام 1998 إلى عام 1999. في عام 2001، حصلت ليلى على من لجنة كامبريدج للسلام في كامبريدج، ماساتشوستس. ليلى هي المدير المشارك في مشروع القدس عام 2050 هو مشروع لحل المشاكل برعاية مشتركة من قسم الدراسات والتخطيط الحضري بمعهد ماساتشوستس للتكنولوجيا، ومركز الدراسات الدولية. كتبت على نطاق واسع حول القضايا المتعلقة بالاقتصاد الفلسطيني وعملية السلام في أوسلو والهجرة الدولية والتكامل الإقليمي. وهي عضوا في منظمة تدعى " مقاومة "، وهي منظمة غير حكومية أسست عام 1967 لتوفير المال والدعم اللازم للحركات الشعبية الداعية إلى التغيير الاجتماعي. - Leila Farsakh (en árabe, ليلى فرسخ: ) (1967) es una economista política palestina, nacida en Jordania y es profesora asistente de Ciencia Política en la Universidad de Harvard , Massachusetts en Boston. Su área de especialización es la política de Medio Oriente, la Política Comparada y la Política del Conflicto árabe-israelí. Farsakh posee un MPhil por la Universidad de Cambridge, de Reino Unido (1990) y un doctorado por la Universidad de Londres (2003). Farsakh realizó una investigación postdoctoral en el Centro de Estudios del Medio Oriente de Harvard, y también es investigadora afiliada en el Centro de Estudios Internacionales del Instituto de Tecnología de Massachusetts. Ha trabajado con varias organizaciones, incluida la Organización para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo Económico en París (1993 - 1996) y el Instituto de Investigación de Política Económica Palestina en Ramala (1998 - 1999). En 2001 ganó el Premio Paz y Justicia de la Comisión de Paz de Cambridge, Massachusetts. - Leila Farsakh (Arabic: ليلى فرسخ) (born 1967) is a Palestinian political economist who was born in Jordan and is an Associate Professor of Political Science at University of Massachusetts Boston. Her area of expertise is Middle East Politics, Comparative Politics, and the Politics of the Arab-Israeli Conflict. Farsakh holds a MPhil from the University of Cambridge, UK (1990) and a PhD from the University of London (2003). Farsakh conducted post-doctoral research at Harvard's Center for Middle Eastern Studies, and is also a research affiliate at the Center for International Studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has worked with a number of organizations, including the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development in Paris (1993 - 1996) and the Palestine Economic Policy Research Institute in Ramallah (1998 - 1999). In 2001, she won the Peace and Justice Award from the Cambridge Peace Commission in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Farsakh is the Project Co-Director for Jerusalem 2050, a problem-solving project jointly sponsored by Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Department of Urban Studies and Planning and the Center for International Studies. She has written extensively on issues related to the Palestinian economy and the Oslo peace process, international migration and regional integration. Farsakh was also a member of the Board at the non-governmental organization RESIST (www.resistinc.org), founded in 1967 to provide grant money and support to grassroots movements advocating for social change.
