- Křemenáče (lidově též křemeňáky, na Moravě janky) jsou houby začleněné do rodu (Leccinum), který je jako samostatný rod uznáván od 20. století, dříve náležely k rodu Boletus. Vyskytují se v lesnatých oblastech Evropy a severní Ameriky. Obecně se předpokládá, že jsou z větší části jedlé, ale existují zprávy o otravě po požití dosud neidentifikovaných křemenáčů v severní Americe. Některé jiné druhy mohou způsobit nevolnost v případě, že se konzumují zasyrova. (cs)

Analogamente al genere Boletus, anche questi funghi sono caratterizzati per la presenza di tubuli piuttosto che di lamelle. Pur essendo meno pregiati di alcune specie del genere Boletus (ad es. porcini), sono pur sempre dei buoni commestibili, almeno per quanto riguarda il cappello. Il gambo, fibroso e molto tenace, non viene in genere consumato, anche se quello di alcune specie potrebbe essere essiccato e macinato per usarlo come condimento. Una delle specie più rappresentative del genere è il Leccinum lepidum (vedi foto in basso), avente gambo color giallo paglierino oppure giallo sporco, cappello di color nocciola o marrone scuro; la sua "forma" ricorda molto alla lontana, quando è in gioventù, quella di un Boletus edulis, tanto che gli inesperti lo scambiano per una sorta di "porcino". - Leccinum är ett släkte soppar som bildar ektomykorrhiza med framförallt träd av familjerna Betulaceae (björkväxter) och Salicaceae (videväxter). De förekommer huvudsakligen inom den norra tempererade zonen, med få arter i tropikerna, och kännetecknas av ljust (vitt till gulaktigt) kött och att foten är klädd med mörka (mörknande) fjäll. Antalet arter och dessas kännetecken varierar betydligt mellan olika författare. Utseendemässiga artindelningar baseras huvudsakligen på mikroskopiska karaktärer hos hatthuden och makroskopiska egenskaper som hattens färg, fotens fjäll och eventuell missfärgning av snittytor. Enligt tidigare taxonomi kallades det som då ansågs som släktet Leccinum (idag betecknat som Leccinum s.lat.) för strävsoppar. Vissa arter som idag förs till andra släkten, som gul strävsopp, Lecinellum crocipodium, har behållit strävsoppsbeteckningen på svenska och beteckningen "strävsoppar" har idag inget taxonomiskt värde.
