- Chladič notebooku, chladič laptopu či chladicí podložka je externí příslušenství k notebooku či laptopu. Podložka se obvykle zapojuje přímo k notebooku/laptopu za pomocí USB. Grund für den Einsatz sind teilweise mangelnde Kühleigenschaften der Notebooks bei dauerhaft starker Belastung. Die Notebook-Kühler sind dabei in der Regel als Untersätze für Notebooks konstruiert. Bei aktiven Kühlern finden sich in diesen Untersätzen ein oder mehrere Ventilatoren, welche für eine verbesserte Kühlluftzufuhr sorgen bzw. die erhitzte Luft besser abtransportieren. Die Stromversorgung der aktiven Notebook-Kühler erfolgt teilweise über eigene Netzteile, meist aber über eine USB-Verbindung mit dem Notebook. Die Notebook-Kühler bieten ihrerseits teilweise weitere Features wie USB-Ports oder Speicherkartenlesegerät. - Pendingin laptop atau yang sering disebut dengan Cooling pad adalah aksesoris laptop yang berfungsi untuk mengurangi/mendinginkan laptop pada saat digunakan. Pendingin laptop biasa digunakan untuk mencegah laptop dari kepanasan (atau biasa disebut overheating) dan untuk menjaga pengguna dari bahaya panas laptop. Ada tiga cara yang digunakan dalam pendingin laptop, yaitu: pendinginan secara aktif dan pendinginan secara pasif. Pendinginan secara aktif adalah pendinginan yang memakai kipas dan atau cairan yang dapat memindahkan panas secara cepat.
